How The Furniture Bank Works

Picking Out Your Furniture
Once you have a confirmed appointment by your case manger, you will be given a day/time to come to the furniture bank.
During your visit, you’ll be guided through our various sections including bedroom (note: we do not provide matresses), kitchen, and living room furniture. You'll have the opportunity to select the items you need and like.
Once chosen, your items will be labeled and will be delivered 2 days later.
We’re here to help and make your space feel like home!
Delivery of Your Furniture
Deliveries are usually made on Thursdays by Lawton Moving and Storage along with a furniture bank representative. A delivery window will be provided in advance, and someone must be present to receive the furniture.
Please note that delivery fees are nonrefundable once a delivery has been scheduled. If no one is available at the time of delivery, or if items must be returned because they do not fit, we are unable to refund the fee since the movers have already been paid for the delivery attempt and return.
Scheduled Appointments Only - No Walk-Ins Accepted
We serve clients through referrals from our nonprofit partners and are unable to accept walk-ins. To get started, a case manager must email us on the client’s behalf, confirm that the client meets program requirements, and secure delivery funding for the referral. We do not charge clients for delivery.

The Furniture Bank has been an invaluable partner in helping our clients furnish the apartments we secure for them, transforming what might otherwise be empty spaces into warm, welcoming homes.
