How The Furniture Bank Works

Picking Out Your Furniture

• Once you have a confirmed appointment by your case manger, you will be given a day/time to come to the furniture bank.
  Any walk-ins without an appointment will be turned away.

• During your visit, you’ll be guided through our various sections including bedroom (note: we do not provide beds), kitchen, and living room furniture. You'll have the opportunity to select the items you need and like.

• Once chosen, your items will be tagged with your name and scheduled for delivery 2 days later.

• We’re here to help and make your space feel like home!

Delivery of Your Furniture

• All furniture deliveries are $200 per client, per delivery, and must be paid by the nonprofit prior to the appointment. It includes pickup of your items from the furniture bank and delivery into your home.

• Furniture deliveries usually take place on Thursdays, delivered by Lawton Moving and Storage and someone from the furniture bank.

• You will be given a delivery window time prior to the Thursday delivery and someone must be available onsite to take the delivery that day.

  • Please Note: If we have a scheduled delivery and show up and no one is there to meet us, the delivery charge will not be refunded as we had to pay the movers to make the delivery attempt and to return the furniture bank to us.

• Please Note: We are not open to the general public and do not accept any walk-ins. All contact and appointments can only be scheduled by a case manager with a NonProfit that have agreed to follow our program requirements.
